The connection of all apartment utilities, including telephone, electricity and gas is the responsibility of the individual resident and is not an Owners Corporation function.
Water and Gas
Cold water to each apartment is centrally metered with the cost being incorporated in the apartment owners strata levies and apportioned in accordance with their unit entitlement. There is no need for residents to apply to Sydney Water to have water connected to their apartments.
Hot water is individually metered and billed to each apartment.
Gas usage is individually metered. Residents are required to contact their gas retailer to have gas connected to their apartment. The gas supply provides hot water and heating when using the cooktop on the stove.
The tap to turn off the cold water in each apartment is located near the floor in the laundry tub cupboard, behind the waste outlet pipe; & the hot water tap is located in the kitchen sink cupboard behind the waste outlet pipe, near the orange hot water “regulator”.
