The intercom handset in each apartment (including wiring not located in Common Property walls) is considered the responsibility of the individual lot owner. If a handset is determined to be faulty an owner has the following two options.
- Arrange directly with the Building Manager to have the handset replaced ‘in-house’ for the fee of $650.00 incl. GST.
- Alternatively, contact a security company that can repair/service the Urmet equipment (e.g. Quorum Security) and make the appropriate arrangements. If this option is deemed preferable, please advise the security company that access to the control equipment outside the apartment (not likely a handset problem if this is required) must be arranged with the Building Manager prior to work commencing.
